The governor chaired the cabinet meeting on Tuesday, September 1, in conjunction with his deputy, Njoroge Muchiri.

The governor and members of the county executive committee discussed the development agenda in Nairobi.

The consultation session focused on key priorities, including the development of ongoing development projects and proposals for new plans aimed at improving service delivery and bringing about change in the city.

The Sakaja meeting and his cabinet came from the long and severe missions of ward representatives across the city to sue the governor.

Approximately 85 MCAs submitted their signatures to begin the process of exposing Sakaja.

Their reasons to sue the county chief include 20 charges, which MCAs claim to be sufficient to be sued.

These main charges include corruption, misuse of public funds, misconduct, and the governor who appears to not fulfill the promises he made while seeking his post in 2022.

MCAS also accused Sakaja of not volunteering to engage them in many developmental issues throughout the city.

They also claim corruption in the school feeding program, who are questioning that it has been a way to disperse public money.
