Despite allegations online that there were no kidnapping or police abuse cases when he was abroad, Rigathi Gachagua has insisted that members of his Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) and its allies were targeted by government officials.
Speaking in an interview with Citizen TV, Gachagua explained that his team was attacked in several areas, including Murang’a, Gilgil and Subukia, using firearms and organized youth groups.
He claimed the attack was organized by the dollar to show a calm visualization when he was not in the country.
“When I was in the United States, they tried to show that ‘Riggy G was out of peace.’ But when my team went to Murang’a, they were attacked by the police with guns and gangs.”He said.
Attempted to kill Gachagua after landing JKIA?
Gachagua also claimed to have survived an attempt to kill Pipeline, Nairobi, shortly after landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
He said police dressed civilians were sent to cooperate with the gangs to conduct the attack, in such a way that it would appear as if the attackers were doing it freely.
According to his claim, the plan involved throwing a large stone on his car with the aim of harming him. However, he avoided injury and postponed a scheduled meeting after his defense team identified danger, including the presence of armed youth and coordination from ground and air forces.

“The government planned to attack me. They were police in conjunction with gangs. They wanted to kill me at Pipeline. They took a large stone and threw it on my car.Gachagua said.
He warned that the incident would lead to a major violence in the country, warning the Minister of Internal Security, Kipchumba Murkomennot to perpetuate such actions.

Why didn’t Gachagua report to the police?
Gachagua defended his decision not to report the police about the allegations, saying the president William Ruto And Murkomen is responsible for security agencies, including the Criminal Investigation Department (DCI).
He claimed that direct orders from them had given the police permission to shoot the protesters or even kill those trying to invade police stations.
“I cannot report Ruto to the police because they are under him. I cannot report to the police on their own. I cannot report Murkomen to DCI Because they are under him. In a situation where my members and I are going through, I can only report to Kenyans, ” He said.
