Pastor Kanyari announced a complex action to charge a KSh 300 registration fee for each member of his church every month, saying that personal assistance and support would be provided only to the participants who paid for it.
He said that the fee aims to ensure that the supporter is a true member of the church and a volunteer.
“Everyone must be registered with KSh 300. Don’t go into my office to meet me personally without it. You can’t come and ask for a loan of KSh 20,000 or KSh 30,000 and you are not my participant. If you are Catholic, go back there and ask for help. I am not your friend, go to your friends,” He said.
He added that the unregistered in his church should seek help from their original churches.
The KSh 300 is also necessary to revive monthly, comparing banks that cannot provide support without financial system.
“You can’t register today and come to ask for help tomorrow if you have only paid KSh 300. Even banks do not do that,” He said.
Kenyan views about the fee
Jackmah: “Why is KSh 300? What’s the secret between KSh 300 and Kanyari? Why not 500 or 200 or 400? Why every 300 times?”
Freddiemwemah: “It’s true. You must be registered to be a participant.”
Peter Ngonii: “Imagine getting more than KSh 300,000 a month due to registration alone.”
Stan Lee Papah: “One of the reasons I left not only to go to church but also to believe in God, the God of our colony.”
Johnjasminemakau: “The people of this church are absolutely wondered. How do they really think? ”
Jennings Otieno: “I have never seen a church where people are registered to be members and then you revise that membership every month.”
Gabriel Kibui Njeri: “KSh 3600 a year. Suppose there are 2000 believers. Really rich relatives. Zero taxation, zero taxation !!”
Livingstone Domiano: “Of course, registration is not a bad thing but don’t be too much.”
KAKII: “That is the painful truth, the church should know its believers and all the churches do this.”
About the late sister Starlet Wahu
On the other hand, Pastor Kanyari told a sad story about his late sister Starlet Wahu, during church worship.
She described how their mother expected to use her old age with Wahu before being brutally murdered in January 2024.
Referring to his own family, Kanyari advised his followers not to give all their hopes to their children alone.
