The trip is seen as Nairobi’s efforts to strengthen its long -term relationship with Tokyo, one of Kenya’s most reliable partners.

A White House spokesman Hussein Mohamed He revealed that Japan has raised more than Sh600 billion in the Kenyan economy for many years, making the country the largest recipient of Japanese aid in Africa.

According to Hussein, the tour is designed to integrate relationships by opening up more business space, investment, and development in development.

What will Ruto do during his visit to Japan?

The essence of the debate will be major infrastructure projects such as the expansion of the Mombasa port, the development of the Mombasa port area, the special economic zone of Dongo Kundu, and improving Nairobi transport systems to be modern.

Ruto to hold talks with the prime minister of Japan

The head of state is expected to encourage the removal of business barriers, while encouraging strong investment cooperation with Japan in key sectors such as energy, equipment and digital networks.

Along the conference, Ruto will hold talks with several leaders including Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.

He is also expected to be welcomed in the palace by King Natuhalito and Empress Masako, in what the White House described as a step to strengthen Kenya with Japan and find new ways to cooperate.

On the trip, Hussein noted, signifies Kenya’s commitment to building the world’s most powerful alliances.

TICAD brings together African and international leaders every three years, to discuss development, investment and sustainable growth.
