This comes a day after the head of state announced a strong search against lawmakers and senators who collect bribery with the intention of influencing the results of the law.

Speaking on Tuesday, August 19, before the Public Accounting Committee in the county, Kajwang explained that if there were allegations of misconduct in Parliament, the Speaker should call evidence so that the process of identifying if members were involved in corruption.

On the other hand, Sifuna called on Senate Speaker Amason Kingi for remaining silent after the national leader expressed allegations of corruption against the senators.

“They have to defend the institution and call the hypocrites who are pointing the fingers in Parliament, and yet we know they are the founders of corruption in this country,” Sifuna said angrily.

While appearing to criticize the head of state, Sifuna said that Ruto He should come before the Senate and support his claim for evidence.
