The recent discovery has sparked the fear of another serious tragedy similar to the murder of Shakahola.

The horrible discovery took place on Friday, August 15, when the murder officers returned to the area to prepare for the planned cemetery mining operations that were identified late last month.

But when the team arranged for the existing funeral, they stumbled into the new hidden, scattered cemeteries that were now reserved as a criminal area.

How did DCI spies get new cemeteries for Binzaro?

The murder director Martin Nyuguto, who is leading the operation, said the discovery was led by reports from suspects who are already in custody.

According to detectives, arrested persons provided important information on how the victims were buried, and allowed diagnostic experts to monitor the cemetery using geolocation technology.

The bodies are believed to be the members of the fasting worship, whose customs are similar to those of Good News International, a movement associated with Paul Mackenzie.

Mackenzie is associated with the deaths of more than 400 people in Shakahola. Intelligence officials say Binzaro victims may have died of starvation before being buried.

Unlike Shakhola, where the cemeteries were dug near people’s homes, Binzaro’s funeral was more hidden in the bushes.

How many bodies have been evacuated from Binzaro?

So far the Authority has confirmed the deaths of 11 people linked to Binzaro worship and the total number of graves associated with the ritual in the area to 21 amid fears that the number may increase as the search has increased.

Some of the cemeteries seemed to have more than one bodies, thus raising concerns that the victims were buried together in collective cemetery.
