Shishi gained fame after posting a video online claiming they were attacked by workers in Quickmart branch of Buruburu for false allegations.
He alleged that the manager attacked him and his brother after accusing them of stealing 57 liters of milk, despite having a receipt to prove they had paid.
This was widespread online, with Kenyans on social networks calling on the main store to be responsible for its actions.

The two went to Tiktok to update their supporters after being asked if they had received compensation.
Shishi thanked Kenyans who helped fight for justice and to deal with rumors that they have already been compensated.
He explained that they were monitoring the matter hard and had involved a lawyer, who was in contact with the lawyers of the main store.
“Many of you think we are silent because we were paid and that’s why we were silent. That’s not true. We wrote a letter of claim, which was presented to them, and we have been waiting for since then,” He said.
The young woman said they had not received any visible information related to the compensation, adding that they were being taken in circles.
Shishi expressed his hope that his decision to speak and proclaim abuse would encourage others in such situations to do so.
He also promised to inform his supporters of any progress, saying that their lawyer is currently dealing with the issue.
“Continue to stand with us as the case goes on, and we are grateful for your help,” He said.

What did Quickmart’s main store say after allegations of a client’s attack?
Quickmart’s management issued a statement discussing concerns that its clients have been attacked by its staff at its Buruburu branch.
The main point said it was aware of the incident and promised to address the issue with great care.
In the statement, they apologized to the brothers and the public, expressing their sadness over the inconvenience.
Quickmart also announced that staff involved in the incident have been suspended to conduct investigations in conjunction with the relevant authorities.

Information related to this, TUKO.co.ke reported that the Consumer Customer Federation (Cofek) blamed the incident and demanded that action be taken by the store.
Cofek wanted the sister and her brother to be compensated by the shop following their misery.
According to the consumer federation, apologizing was not sufficient for the humiliation and terrible experience that Shishi and his brother endured.
Cofek Secretary -General Stephen Mutoro criticized Quickmart’s actions, noting that the move to suspend the branch manager is a joke.
