The confrontation of Wednesday, August 13, erupted during a session where the Minister of Interior Kipchumba Murkomen He answered a question about the killing of women in the Kware waste area in Embakasi south.

The suspect, Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, escaped from police hands in August 2024 and has since been arrested again.

Explaining his dissatisfaction with Murkomen’s response, Wamuchomba said:

“I refuse to listen to the answer he gives, it is wrong to come and tell us that the suspect disappeared, and we do not give us any hope. The minister cannot come here and tell us that he wants the public to help identify the suspect who was previously under their protection.

He ignored the order, causing him to quit the question and warn against ‘playing in the gallery’ inside the White House.

“It’s a shame in Parliament for you to ask the question you are prosecuted now and the additions and then get out. It’s a misconduct, come back and sit,” The Speaker said.
