The game has been hit by a number of outside stadiums following the riot events witnessed on Sunday during a game against Morocco.
Fans invaded security forces and entered the stadium without a ticket, contrary to CAF rules.

The sale of Zambia’s game tickets was first suspended as the CAF reviewed the situation. The ruling council reduced the capacity of the field of Kasaraniand allow only 60% (27,000) of the ticket to be sold.

In addition to the ticket, the time of the game confused fans. The CAF website said the game would start at 8 pm, with tickets showing the game to start at 3 pm.

The confusion has now been eliminated and the game is confirmed on Sunday, August 17, at 3pm at Moi International Stadium, Kasarani.
Kenya Football Federation’s head of communications, Jeff Kinyanjui, set the record, confirming the time of the game.
“Dear friends, Zambia vs Kenya is Sunday, August 17 at 3pm EAT, Kasarani.”
CAF have also moved to fix an error on their page using new time, reading at 3pm at night and not 8pm.

The 3pm match is accompanied by the final group stage games to start at the same time. While Kenya will play at Kasarani Stadium, DR Congo and Morocco will be playing at Nyayo Stadium.

Harambee Stars defeated Morocco and moved one step near the qualifying round.
