Kiambu: A military helicopter collapses on the streets, several people are afraid of dying

  • A helicopter of the Kenya Defense Force (KDF) collapsed in residential homes in Dagama, Mwihoko, Kiambu County, two o’clock at night, with all the people inside feared dead.
  • Eyewitnesses reported that the plane exploded in the air before collapsed in the house, leaving the horrible area of debris and the remains of suspected people.
  • Emergency services and senior military officers arrived at the scene of the accident, with shocked residents gathered near the remains.

All residents who were aboard are feared to die, although official confirmation is still awaiting.

How did a military helicopter fall into a hurry?

Eyewitnesses said the plane seemed to experience technical problems in the middle of the atmosphere before crashing into residential homes.

One Witness explained to see the pillow exploding in the sky before failing to control it and descending.

“It exploded in the sky, and as it tried to descend, it fell into people’s homes,” One resident said, appearing to be shaken.

The accident was described as terrible, and the contaminated metal scattered and what appeared to be human appearing in the remains. The ambulance and fire extinguishers arrived at the scene shortly after the accident, with a crowd of residents gathering in shock.

Peterson, a local resident, said he heard a loud roar from inside his house and ran out, and encountered the tragic event.

“Certainly a military pit. Military vehicles and what seemed like senior officers had already arrived. Apparently they were almost when it happened,” Another resident added.
