Willington Tsofa, who served in the Kenyan army, died with his whole family after the car they were traveling in collided with a saloon car, before hitting a truck.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, one family member confirmed that the KDF officer, his wife, who had given birth, his newborn, his brother James, an officer from the general service unit, and his brother -in -law were all perished.
Willington and his wife had just come out to welcome their baby, and they had all gone to the hospital to take the woman and the baby when a fatal accident happened.
“Yes, they are my family members, and they were leaving the hospital and he was one of the brother’s wife who had given birth to a baby. They had an accident when they went home,” He revealed.
San, a family member also confirmed the incident, saying the dead brothers were his uncle.
A close friend of the family also spoke to TUKO.co.ke, to mourn the dead officer and his family members.
