On Wednesday, July 7, the AMREF Airline Cessna Citation 560 crashed in Mwihoko, Kiambu County, resulting in the deaths of two people.
The plane was flying from Wilson’s airport, but at some point it was in contact with the airline control tower and then collapsed badly, hitting the residential building as it collapsed.
Residents of the Arewa area gathered in large numbers at the scene, and the Kenya Defense Force (KDF) and police arrived quickly and besieged the area near the remains of the plane.
