In an exciting interview on Citizen television, Munyakho, now known by the name of Abdulkareem after Islam, reported the events that led to his closing 2011.

As anger escalated, the controversy escalated to physical fighting, which Munyakho said was his first time involved in violence.
According to his description, Halim had a knife and was the first to use it, causing injuries to his hand and thigh.
Munyakho said he succeeded in fighting the knife and used it to bring it back. He emphasized that there was no intention of killing and held that Halim’s death was due to delays in medical care, not to burn itself.

How was Munyakho’s life saved?
He referred to the confrontation as a terrible offense rather than a deliberate abuse.
When he learned that Halim had died, Munyakho was deeply saddened.
“When I was told he was dead I couldn’t believe it, the main cause of his death was not a knife but he was late to the hospital and thus losing a lot of blood, it was just a mistake,” He said.

Although he was initially found guilty of unintentionally murder, the charges were later improved by murder, and he was sentenced to death for being beheaded.

How was Munyakho released from Saudi Arabia’s prison?
Munyakho’s life was saved after the Halim family agreed to receive Diyya, or blood money, as compensation allowed under Islamic law.
The Muslim community in the world, in partnership with the Kenyan government collected a total of KSh 129 million to ensure its release.
