A fourth -year student at Nairobi Road Secondary School lost his life after being hit by a car while running from students of other schools allegedly stabbing him.
According to the report, the woman who hit Peter rushed her to a nearby hospital where she was given first aid.
However, her parents later transferred her to the Nakuru Regional Referral Hospital after complaining of severe headaches.

Peter’s mother, Monica Wanjiku, explained bitterly how she met her son in the hospital, sitting on the floor, and when she asked her what had happened, she told her she had been upset by students from her school.
As he ran away, he met the students of a neighboring school.
In a state of panic, he tried to cross the road but did not realize that there was a car coming, and then he was hit.

“He said he was running as he crossed the road and he didn’t remember what had happened well. He said he didn’t hear anything through the left ear and was feeling severe pain on the head of the head,” He explained to Wanjiku in tears.
The sad mother added that an X-ray examination showed serious injuries that caused bleeding in the head.
A few hours later, Peter began vomiting blood and eventually passed away.
“All the left side of his head seemed as though it had been cut off. The doctors struggled to save him, but he was unsuccessful. My son died, he left me,”Said the mother sadly.

Nakuru’s family wants justice for their son
The family now wants justice to be done and has called on a thorough investigation to be done to determine what happened in fact.
They also want formal information from the school about the allegations of groups of students who were teasing their peers, while Nakuru police are investigating.
“I just want to know what happened to my son. I know it will not bring him back, but I need to know,” Said Wanjiku.
