Eugene Party Wamalwa DAP-K witnesses the turmoil, Salasya threatens to follow Natembeya

The common divisions involving political parties in Kenya have entered the Democratic Action Party-Kenya (DAP-K), whose leader is now criticizing the sabotage from the local wing.

Eugene Wamalwa He accused his deputy George Natembeya of plotting against him in the pursuit of the presidential ticket for the party’s ticket.

The party leader accused East Mumias MP Peter Salasya who also accused him of being part of Natembeya’s conspiracy.

The fighting threatens the structure of the Democratic Action-Kenya (DAP-K) party, which, since its inception in 2022, has not been publicly sprayed in its dirty line.

The party under the leadership of former Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa was among the parties that established a coalition of Union Declarationwhose ticket Raila Odinga won the presidency without success.

All the while, party activities have been closed, with Eugene replacing the Embassy in his talks with other political officials.

But on Friday, August 1, it was publicly known that there have been internal conflicts, with divisions shaking the party, distinguishing Eugene’s side and that of Trans Nzoia governor George Natembeya, deputy party leader.

Eugene accuses Natembeya and East Mumias MP Peter Salasya of plotting a coup against him.

Natembeya and Salasya, a member of the Dap Kenya ticket, have announced their intention to run for the presidency.

It was for this reason that the party leader, who also announced his intention to run for president, claimed that they were pushing for a bad motive against him.

“My brother Peter Salasya, you all and George Natembeya do not need to leave or cause a revolution in our party to become party leaders or presidential candidates,” Eugene tweeted.

He invited them to a competitive process where thereafter the party’s presidential candidate could be found.

“You are welcome to face a presidential ticket in free and fair elections, as ours is certainly a democratic party that can enable all of us to fulfill our political demands through local democracy without damaging our party or clearing our dirty clothes in public!” He said.

Salasya, in a quick denial, criticized Eugene for mistakenly criticizing him for pushing for illegally grabbing the party.

He blamed the party leader for failing to recognize his efforts to call Natembeya.

Salasya is on the record for criticizing Natembeya for running a different agenda with DAP Kenya, discussing the possibility of Trans Nzoia governor from leaving the party and joining the opposing group.

The MP suggested that he go to replace Natembeya to defend the party leader.

That Eugene did not realize the preceding had hurt Salasya, and even asked Naeeya for forgiveness for being fierce to her.

He threatened to take the back seat on Dap Kenya issues.

“I will not participate in more, but I will consider what I started. Defending a politician in Kenya is very difficult. Sorry, George Natembeya, for beating you so much. Salasya said.
