The government announced plans to launch a new wave of cemetery extraction in Kwa Binzaro village, located in Kilifi County, following allegations of a religious sect responsible for many unknown deaths.
These genuine monuments, believed to have bodies buried in deep holes, are expected to expose further conflicting evidence of radical ideology hiding as a religious belief.

On Wednesday, July 30, Malindi Resident Magistrate Irene Thamari ordered the murder unit of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), along with state -owned Passologist Johansen Oduor, to oversee the grave extraction and professional investigation.
The court orders identified a detailed operation that would include post -death, DNA testing, and a testing for the tests aimed at identifying the exact cause of the death of each victim.
State prosecutor Judy Gachuru told the court that investigators suspected that the victims died of hunger and lack of air, pointing to what appeared to be a planned system of radical religious ideology.
Although the identity and total number of victims have not yet been confirmed, investigators consider the case as a national emergency issue.
