Kenyan MPs have joined the Harambee Stars players, giving cash to raise their commitment to the African Nations (CHAN).

Chan 2024 will start on August 2, but Harambee Stars will play its first match on Sunday, August 3, against the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

How much did Kenyan MPs give the Harambee Stars players?
On Wednesday, some members of the Kenyan National Assembly, led by parliamentary captain FC MP Rarieda Otiende Amollo and MP Embakasi South Musili Mawathe, visited players during their training camp.
They gave the team a gift of Ksh 1 million at the Police Sacco Stadium to strengthen their ambition as the tournament approached.
“If anything is waiting, we will push as legislators to make sure our country offers as a host and a team.” Amollo said. “We also intend to attend all their games in Kenya and elsewhere in solidarity.”
“We are here to encourage them and make sure that everything is right when you prepare for this important task,” Bumula MP Wambo Wamboka said.
President William Ruto also donated KSh 5 million.
Can Harambee Stars win the Chan Cup 2024?
Kenya is organizing its first major football tournament in decades and participating in their first Chan show. It also celebrates their first major tournament since the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Harambee Stars will play all five group matches at Kasarani Stadium. For pressure to implement the placement, they will need to climb the occasion.
Morocco, the winners of the two editions previous in 2018 and 2020, are recommended to win. Algeria and Nigeria They also seem to be major opponents.
