Cheruiyot claimed that Gachagua did not support nor properly contributed to the efforts of Kenya first which put President William Ruto in power.

Speaking in a recent interview on the Mufasa Show digital forum, Cheruiyot referred to Gachagua as an inexperienced participant who conducted the efforts and resources of others without dedication.

“The relative never contributed to one bob,” Cheruiyot said.

Cheruiyot accused the former deputy president of misleading his political foundation in Mount Kenya, claiming he lodged his influence on local voters.

He pointed out that despite UDA’s immense popularity in the area, Raila Odinga He still managed to get over one million votes there.

“That’s a very redeemed society. It’s a lie to think that he is ordering such followers,” Cheruiyot said.

He went on to explain that Gachagua has no objection, claiming that he often cannot participate in political debates.

During the campaign, he allegedly waited until the events were fully organized and appeared on road shows to criticize political opponents.

The senator also did not feel sorry for the opposition. He referred to leaders in the opposition coalition that they had no agenda and they only intended to remove Ruto without giving alternatives.

“Take Kalonzo Musyoka, for example. Give him a minute and tell him to talk about agriculture. Or Great about public health. They can’t even talk for two minutes. It’s negligent,” Cheruiyot said.
