Kenyan entertainment journalist Kalondu Musyimi has opened up about the moment she first went viral, and it all started with a lighthearted interview featuring internet sensation Stevo Simple Boy.

During an interview posted on Sunday, 13 July 2025, Musyimi, known for her bubbly energy and unconventional questions. recounted how a spontaneous exchange with Stevo on her platform unexpectedly catapulted her into the national spotlight.

“The very first time was when I did an interview with Stevo Simple Boy,” she began. “He had just gotten into the industry. I was asking him the same quick-fire questions.”

Among those quickfire prompts was a question that would change her media journey.

“And I asked him what the meaning of photosynthesis was, and he went viral,” she recalled, laughing.
