The family of Harrison Wachira, a 37 -year -old man whose body was dragged on the streets of Juja by police, has come out in public, protesting the rumors of a response.

Wachira, a motorcyclist who works near Juja, lost his life during The procession Seven Seventh July 7.
But according to his loved ones, he was not part of the protest; Instead, he was at his job making a motorcycle as usual, when the riots reached him.
Esther Mumbi, Wachira’s fiancé, narrated their last conversation, revealing that she begged her to shut down the shop.
They were talking by phone when the tear gas was dropped near the Wachira shop, which forced him to start arguing that the smoke was too much and he was not seeing well.
“He told me the gas of tears was so plentiful, that he was getting ready to close and go home. Then he said, ‘Wait a little, I have failed to see better because of the smoke.’ That was the end of our conversation, ”Mumbi recalled sadly, in their planning room in Highpoint Street, Juja.
A few hours later, he received a video that turned his life completely: the body was dragged to the pavement near the Juja police station.
At that time, the frustrated Mumbi could not realize that the one who was being dragged was his fiancée.

How did Wachira die?
In the following days, the family began to gather pieces of reality. A man working near Wachira revealed to Mumbi that he had been shot.
Despite the initial allegation that he was trampled during a mess, his body showed a different condition: he had a shooting on the left side of the throat.
“They have written that he was trampled during the violence, but that is not true, he was not trampled. His body had no trampling.
Gachuhi expressed his anger over how the police had treated him even after his death, by leaving him to the police station.
“Even in death, he was not respected. He was not a criminal. He was at work, a busy young man. That’s when he was killed in a shooting. But a picture of him being dragged into the road will follow us forever.
His sister Wachira, Aisha Wangui, added a sad voice, saying she was not worthy of being dragged on the road.
Wangui, who raised the Wachira and his brothers after their parents died, referred to the Wachira as a generous and diligent young man.
Wachira’s body is currently in General Kago’s corpse in the city Thikaawaiting surgery for the cause of the cause of death.
