John Kimani, the husband of Jane Wambui, who was discovered to be buried in a deep grave within their Boma, explained the emotional details about his late wife.
When did Kiman know about his wife’s disappearance?
Kimani opened up about when he realized he was absent, and the sad events that followed.
“I realized his disappearance on Sunday, July 6. We talked just a few days ago, the day he was discovered that he was absent, he was expected to welcome some women home. Some of them had arrived, but found the house closed.
“They phoned me as I work Kitale Asking me where he was, I told them he might have run to the market and he will return soon, I went to the store to charge my phone and try to call him but he didn’t receive it, ” He remembered.

Kimani decided to call in his church to ask if his wife appeared there, with his anxiety escalating.
He was told he had not attended the church that day, which made his heart sink.
“I told my wife she was diagnosed with cancer 16 years ago, and recently we were going to be examined, I thought she was probably overwhelmed, and then I gave instructions for the roof of our house to be given so that the interior could be found.
“They did it and went into the house, but it wasn’t there. Everything seemed right, and there was no indication that there was someone inside,” he added.

Kimani said the domestic worker had been living in their fortress for a few years and that they helped him even after being evicted from three houses.
“We saw he faces many challenges. We gave him the house and distributed the responsibilities of guardianship and also as a mother. He said.

Police are investigating Jane Wambui’s death
The Directorate of Criminal Investigation issued a statement explaining how the Householder led the detectives to a deep grave where he allegedly buried the nurse.
