This comes a few hours after being brought to court in shock following a prolonged disappearance and causing serious rumors and rumors.

Kinyagia, who disappeared from his home in Kinoo, Kiambu County on June 22, emerged on Thursday, July 3, when he arrived before the Nairobi court.

His unexpected return came after several days of pressure on police, with social network users and some media claiming he was kidnapped by government officials.

In a statement issued on Thursday, July 3, NPS maintained that Kinyagi was never prevented and dismissed the alleged kidnapping and misleading.

According to police spokesman Muchiri Nyaga, the blogger “she is living to be an important person in our observations” and is supposed to report to DCI to record official information.

“The National Police Service (NPS) has revealed the re -emergence of Ndimangui’s back from his hiding place and later brought to court. Kigaga had reportedly disappeared, and news spread on social networks as well as mainly accused the police service for allegedly kidnapping him.

However, he remains a person of interest to the police and is therefore encouraged to submit to the DCI headquarters to record information, ” It said part of the statement.

Why is the national police service concerned?

The Police Force also expressed concern over what it described as a confusing situation, in which people allegedly lost for forging public opinion and muddying the police.

“We differ greatly from the emerging situation where people pretend to be kidnapping and giving false information to the police, aiming to provide misleading accounts that use public anger and sad headlines, thus misleading the truth instead of focusing or justice,” Nyaga said.

NPS warned that anyone found guilty of managing their own kidnapping or giving false information will face full power of law.

“These criminal acts undermine the integrity of our law enforcement efforts, destroy the reputation of the national police service, and cause public concern,

The national police service would like to remind the public that the kidnapping administered by the police and giving false information to the police is a criminal criminal punishment, “ Police said.

Will Kigaga cooperate with DCI?

In court, Kigaga was represented by Advocate Whome Thuku, who told the judge that the blogger had been hiding “for fear of his life” after he allegedly found out that he was being sought by DCI officials for allegedly unknown crimes.

Thuku added that Kijagi contacted relatives from an unknown place, causing his family to take legal action immediately.

The lawyer also indicated that the family intends to cooperate with the authorities to clarify any pending issues, but emphasized that the blogger had acted in care of his safety.
