Reports from Spain indicate that the Portuguese footballer died in an accident near Zamora, northwestern Spain.
Recently Jota was part of the Portuguese team that defeated Spain and won the UEFA Nations League.
How did Diogo Jota die?
Preliminary reports indicate that the car he was traveling in Jota left the road and collapsed before burning. He was with his brother, Andre.
“The 1-1-2 Castilla Y León operating room received several calls reporting a car accident in Km. 65 of A-52, in Cernadilla Municipality, Zamora.
“1-1-2 notified Zamora traffic police, Zamora Regional Firefighters, and the Sacyl Emergency Coordinating Center (CCU) about the accident.”
