The family of blogger killed Albert Ojwang has emerged to keep the record for the amount of money they have received from donations following the death of their son.

During the dead mass organized on Tuesday, July 2, at the Ridgeways Baptist church in Nairobi, the family’s attorney, Julius Juma, addressed the protesters, explaining what he described as misconceptions about the support they received.
How much money did the Ojwang family receive?
His statement comes after allegations made by the comedian who turned into an activist Eric Omondiwho claimed that his dedication to us helped to raise approximately KSh 10 million for the Ojwang family.
“It has been stated in various media that the family received KSh 10 million. I have been asked to keep the same record, and I do so from the pulpit, fully aware of the consequences of lying,” the lawyer said.
He continued: “The family did not receive KSh 10 million. The family wants to confirm that it received KSh 2 million from the head of state, KSh 1 million from Raila Odingaand KSh 2 million from Kenyans who donated various funds. All of these total KSh 5,060,000. I repeat, it is not true that the family received KSh 10 million. “
