The 31 -year -old blogger and technology specialist is still unknown, a few days after disappearing in a mysterious environment.

During a court session that many expected would cause a change in the search, the Kigaga family, represented by their lawyer Wahome Thuku, shared different emotions.

They welcomed the court’s attention to the case but also expressed their concern about the lack of consistent updates.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Wahome vehemently denied the allegations that Kigaga was last seen with one boy and the two women.

He emphasized that none of those people were linked to the family and questioned whether any sincere efforts had been made to identify them.

“The family position is clear, those people may be part of the situation, but it’s up to the police to know who they are,” He said.

Wahome also challenged to DCI Providing evidence that supports the allegations and disclosing what investigation has been done so far.

The Supreme Court had ordered the Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja to present Ndimangui face -to -face or to come to court to explain his disappearance.

However, instead of appearing on his own, he sent representatives who told the court that Kigaga was not under their protection.

The judge adjourned the case until Thursday, July 3, and issued a new directive requiring Criminal Investigations Director Mohamed Amin to come to face and provide direct information on the situation of the disappearance.

How has the Ndiangui family Kigaga have seen the progress in what investigation so far?

Wahome participated with TUKO.co.ke that the family was satisfied that their voice was heard.

He described how the Court dealt with the matter as fair and equitable, noting that the judge expressed his concern about the disappearance of the head without making a strong decision.

“The judge indicated that this was a lost person who could not leave the country unnoticed. He must be somewhere,” Wahome said, referring to the court’s allegations that the man might still be found by authority.

Although the family noted that progress was slow, they believed the case had made great strides.

Wahome expressed his gratitude for how the court dealt with the matter, saying that the court had fulfilled its role in pushing the process forward.

The family is left with hope that Kigaga is alive and under the care of someone who knows where he is. Their main desire, Home added, is to be found safe.

Was Kingii Kigaga was a suspect or a victim?

Wahome explained that there were no formal charges of crime or accusations against Ndimangui and emphasized that rumors about the matter were not mature.

He suggested that neither the police nor the DCI made specific claims, adding that until Ndabui was found, it was good for questions about his actions or intentions to be left unanswered.

“If there is anything he did or did not do, it is for him to say in court,” He said.

He added that only a police officer or DCI could explain if there were plans to prosecute him, and that at the moment, the emphasis was left in search of him, not to prosecute him.

Wahome also opposed the notion that Ndimangui was an interested person, emphasizing that he lived freely and was not involved in anything known by the family.

He claimed that the authorities had reached the point of breaking his house, and found he was not there.

What does the Nkangui family claim from the police?

The family called on police and DCI to introduce him to Ndimangui before considering any legal action against him.

“The first thing the police should do is find a lost person,” Wahome said. “You postpone one part of your responsibility to follow the other.”

After they were found, the Home added, the police could then explain any charges or reasons for their search. Until then, the issue should remain the case of the lost people.

“That’s why we say he is considered a person of interest. Once the police have made it clear what they intend to do with him, we will close the chapter,” He said.

“That’s why we want the DCI chief to come and tell us-that’s what we’ve done, this is what we haven’t done,” he added.
