Among the most tragic incidents is that of Police Constable Emily Kinya, a mother of two, who was attacked by a crowd on the Muindi Heaven Road in Nairobi during the violence.

What happened to Emily Kinya?

Kinya, who was in a regular patrol to monitor the protest, was attacked by stoned protesters and weapons.

In a state of turmoil, he was hit on the leg, stumbled and fell to the ground. When the crowd surrounded him, he suffered several injuries, including a head injury.

From his hospital bed, the fearful Kinya narrated how he avoided death.

Although his uniform did not protect him, the shocking act of personality emerged from the crowd.

A green -dressed young man emerged and protected him from further harm, stood between him with an angry crowd and helped calm down a situation that could worsen.

Why is Sammy Ondimu looking for the young man who helped Kinya?

A police officer of NakuruSammy Ondimu, who was touched by the unique act, has initiated a public request to find the good Samaritan.

In a touching message he posted online, Ondimu praised the boy for his courage, calling him a “hero” and promising to meet him and give him a gift of thanks.

“He protected him. He stood between him and the crowd. He chose personality instead of hatred. Said Ondimu.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Ondimu admitted that the boy was either scared or hesitant about the reason for the police to find him, but he assured him that his intention was to respect him for his dedication.

He said he wanted to send the boy and his family to eat food with him and to congratulate him on saving Kinya.

“The bad thing could have happened to the sister. I will not rest until I find her. Her act really touched me. Added Ondimu.

The request has been online, with some Kenyans also expressing a willingness to help the young man with the courage and sympathy he has revealed.

Vincent Opar said: “Who knows this guy wearing green? He deserves a lunch, and we can contribute something … we can not be such people, especially to a woman. “

Two police officers killed in Siaya station

In another news, a tragic incident occurred at Ng’iya police station, Siaya County, on Sunday morning, June 29, in which two officers were killed in a shooting.

Constable Martin Martin allegedly shot and killed his chief, Koplo Chesise, before trying to escape.

She was shot and killed by her colleagues near Ng’iya’s high school. Police suspect a private dispute is the source of the incident.
