Popular pastor Anthony Kahura Mwangi, popularly known as Pastor T, has explained why Gen Z failed to reach State House during the memorial protest on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
Speaking during a church sermon at his Life Church International, Pastor T attributed Gen Z’s inability to reach the State House not to logistics but to spiritual design, rooted in astrology and emotional resonance.
According to the clergy, the house on the hill is not only governed by military power but also by divine power, noting that thrones are governed by wise men.
“Many of them will tell you that when they marched and when they were approaching the state house, a certain fear came upon them because thrones are not governed by military power only, thrones are governed by wise men, and what happened when they arrived there was confusion,” Pastor T explained.
“So someone was standing on his altar saying ‘ooh Lord, I realise confusion’, but they are coming from emotions where the battle has shifted, is spiritual.”

Additionally, Pastor T added that June 25 was a day of heightened emotions, according to the Zodiac calendar, pointing out that the person behind Gen Z’s coordination has a spiritual intelligence.
“I went and checked on the zodiac calendar what June 25 means, the zodiac rendering of the 25th of June is the day of heightened emotions, so I looked at it and said, ‘Whoever is coordinating this Gen Z stuff has a spiritual intelligence,’” he said.
“I know a few people who sit in a certain seat of power, but they are not believers, but their core faith system is astrology, so they will look and know if we programme a generation to fall under a certain zodiac incarnation, certain things will happen.”
He added that whoever manages to work with Gen Z’s emotions will be able to control them since they are looking for emotional wellness and stability.
“If someone had to set a date on the zodiac system, he knows so much because you study the psychology of Gen Z. What they are looking for is emotional wellness and stability, so whoever manages to work with their emotions will manage to use them,” he added.
“Politics is not done from boardrooms; politics is from research. Some people have documents from Harvard, they have studied the social structure of Kenya, and they know the topic to engineer, and we will go in a certain way. That is why the church must operate with spiritual intelligence because it is beyond Harvard.”
