That spectacular time was captured in the current online video of Tiktok which has highlighted a state of concern between civilians and police officers.

Reason for residents to run from a police officer

The station commander had just entered the center field when many people who had arrived in search of services fled in fear.

In the video, the officer expressed his frustration as he tried hard to assure the crowd that was running and collecting them again.

“Did I come up with sirens or sides? So why did you all escape when I came in?” He asked in surprise.

Those who returned finally stated that they were scared for their lives, quoting a recent “shooting” order issued by the Minister of Internal Security, Kipchumba Murkomen.

The order, issued following increased attacks on police stations, has spread great fears among civilians.

“We have seen what happened yesterday, and the minister said anyone who would be found near the police station should be shot,” explained one resident.

The officer, who maintained a quiet and close view, held an emergency meeting to assure the public.

He assured them that the order was not targeting innocent civilians, and stressed that police officers had the responsibility of serving and protecting, not harming.

“If you have no bad intentions, don’t be afraid to approach a police officer. We have been hired by the government to serve them,” He told the gathering.

Ndunyu Police Station Njeru Burned

The incident occurred after a deadly chaos in the area, where three people died after angry residents burned down the Ndunyu police station during the The procession.

The tension has left civilians and security officers in a state of shock.

The widespread video has caused different emotions online, with some users criticizing the Ministry of Internal Security tactics.

Some considered the video to be funny due to the real surprise of the police officer and how the citizens fled in fear.
