Did Ruto send KSh 2 million to the Ojwang family?
There have been misinformation reports across the country claiming that the family has not received money from the President.
It also spread allegations that Elder Opiyo reminded the President of the promise he made.
However, the family’s spokesman, who is also Ojwang’s uncle, Kenneth Ouma, previously denied the rumors.
In a telephone interview with Radio 47, Elder Opiyo confirmed that he received 2 million KSh.
He revealed that he received the money through the governor of Homa Bay, Gladys starch. He made sure the money was deposited into his grandson’s account.
Ojwang’s father said:
“It is not true that the money was deposited directly into my grandson’s account. He said.

Ojwang was taken from his home in the countryside while eating lunch with his family on June 7 at 7:30 pm.
