MCA Cheptoo condemns the act of sotik woman
The child was returned to her grandmother following the tragic incident.

Kenyans comment after a woman who struck a child arrested
Social network users were filled with strong emotions expressing their sadness over the event that left many with shock:
Pauline Muruli:
“I saw until the tears flowed from me. Thank you so much to the Kenyans who struggled to make sure the mother was arrested. And the men, if you decide to marry the stepmother, please make sure you know how your children live.
Cherop Native:
“Should a parent be arrested for abandoning? It is the father who should be responsible. What if the mother left the baby to the baby? She is also a parent. Not all children stay with the mother, the father can also raise.”
Kipkorir Ole Kirorei:
“What shocks me is the other woman in the video who went on with her activities as if nothing happened and the one who records is laughing.”
Malon Bett:
“The cruel act of this cruel woman should be taken seriously. It has violated the child’s rights and the laws of Kenya.”
Felix Mutai:
“Instead of sending the baby to the children’s center, bring me. I want to raise him.”
