Some Nairobi residents, led by Bonface Sila Munyao, are pushing for his ouster, accusing him of misconduct, violations of the constitution and national law, abuse of office and violations of the Nairobi resident’s rights system.

Why do Nairobi residents want Sakaja to be resolved?

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke alone, Munyao claimed that the Sakaja administration repeatedly ignored legal protection for tenants, especially in the management of affordable housing projects.

“It’s something that has been happening for a while,” Munyao said. “We have had affordable housing issues, and he is not ready to listen to people. he added.

Munyao further indicated that a state newspaper notification was issued to counter the expulsion plan, but the Sakaja administration allegedly ignored it.

He alleged that the governor held his post even during a public ceremony chaired by the President William Rutowhere the affordable house houses were handed over to residents.

Things changed when Munyao accused the county government of using the bandits who were hired to threaten residents in areas such as Woodley, California, Uhuru Estate, Kitiko Estate and South Kariobangi.

“At the time of the evacuation, they came with bandits, accompanied by county soldiers. That was contrary to public control law. The governor is not allowed to use bandits, and videos were taken. He said.

He also linked the gangs allegedly against attacks on peaceful protesters who were claiming responsibility following the death of blogger Albert Ojwang under police protection.

“People wanted to march in peace, but Sakaja vowed to maintain stability. Claims from church leaders, newspapers and politicians state that he sponsored violence against protesters in peace. Some even admitted to receiving funding. Munyao told we were.

Who will submit a motion to open a case for him?

Despite the seriousness of the allegations, Munyao explained that the overall performance of Sakaja as the governor was not the basis for pushing for removal from office.

The request, he said, was based on misconduct such as allegations of using bandits to silence opponents. He claimed that several residents had reached him in fear after he had received threats.

The complainants are now working with experienced lawyers to complete a waterproofing case.

“We have members of the Nairobi County parliament who have volunteered to submit the request, and we will elect one who cannot be left. He said.

Munyao warned that if Nairobi would be allowed to get into chaos, the whole country could suffer harm. He wanted Ruto and the ODM candlestick Raila Odinga ‘sacrifice’ for the stability of the capital and gain the support of the young generation.

“We want the order, as he promised in his manifesto. Nairobi cannot get into chaos. He said.

He added that the group would not leave MCAs who oppose the move for political fear. According to him, voters will be encouraged to collect signing signatures again.

“If they go to court to end their removal, they will spend all their money there and they will not be guaranteed to be re -elected. This is about defending the people of Nairobi,” he said.
