The blogger was also taken from their family home in Kabondo Kasipul, on Saturday, June 7, while eating lunch with his wife, Nevnina, and your son.
He was later taken to the Mazwago police station in Homa Bay, where he was detained for a few hours before being transferred to Nairobi.
A few hours later, on Sunday, June 8, the family was informed that Ojwang had died in the cells of the Central Nairobi police station.
A corpse by five corpse surgeons showed that the father of one child died of severe head injuries and many other injuries due to being beaten.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) approved the murder charges against police officer Talaam, James Mukhwanma, along with four other suspects linked to Ojwang’s death.
What was Ojwang’s last message about his parents on Facebook?
The 31 -year -old graduated from the Coastal University two years ago, and shared photos of the graduation ceremony with his parents.
In a post he posted on his Facebook account on February 23, 2023, Ojwang thanked his parents for teaching him.
In one of the pictures, she was seen helping her mother wear a graduation hat.
The mother of one child looked happy as she was photographed wearing a gray robe and a graduation hat.
In another photo, Ojwang photographed with his father who was also wearing a gray robe and a graduate hat. The two parents seemed smiling happily.

When will Ojwang be buried?
In another statement, the family of the late blogger confirmed that he would be buried on Friday, July 4, in Homa Bay County.
According to a family spokesman, John Pkwanyo, the worship of the dead is scheduled for Wednesday, July 2, in Nairobi, although the event has not yet been announced.
He added that the family had received KSh 5.6 million as contributions, including aid from President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
This is after Eric Omondi claiming that Kenyans donated more than KSh 10 million.
