Did Ojwang’s father misuse the donations?

During a recent interview on Ogin Obinna TV, Kenneth Ouma, family spokesman, and John Okwanyo, chairman of the Albert funeral committee, opened up about the emotional stress they had been passing quietly away from the public eyes.

Responding to the latest allegations that more than KSh 500,000 were scheduled for Albert’s funeral was lost in a controversial way, the two explained the reason for his father Albert, Meshack Opiyo, was not publicly appearing to discuss the issue.

According to Okwanyo, rumors began to spread that Opiyo misused the donations.

However, he vehemently denied the allegations saying that the money was still safe until the hackers were able to get the account.

“Money has not been misused nor is it completely spent. We would carry other problems and spend that money, but so far, money is still there,” Okwanyo explained.

He went on to explain that Opiyo and his family were overwhelmed with sadness and also faced another family tragedy.

“Anyone who thinks he misused people’s money or that he forgot Albert is wrong. We are in sadness. His father Albert had left the funeral of his aunt Albert, who died after hearing about Albert’s death. That’s why he returned home, a tragedy after the tragedy,” He explained.

What happened to Albert?

Albert died in a vague circumstances shortly after being arrested at his home at lunch with his family.

It was later revealed that he died at the hands of the police, which caused great anger on social networks.

His death fueled a wave of support from Kenyans, who wanted justice to be done and also contributed to the mass to help the family finance the funeral.
