Director Trevor, who also manages Gen Z sensation Bradley Marongo, popularly known as the Goliath due to his towering height, has revealed new details about the young star’s European tour.
Speaking during a podcast on Sunday, June 22, 2025, Trevor confirmed that Bradley will be in Europe for two major events.
The highlight of the trip is a TV interview scheduled for July 2025 with a renowned European station. According to Trevor, the station has paid Bradley specifically for this exclusive appearance, as they aim to be the first to feature him on national television in their country.
“The main thing is Ananda TV show, wamemlipa exclusively aende afanye hio TV show kwa hio interview, wakue the first people ever kuwahi kumfanyia interview kwa hio country,” Trevor said.
He also disclosed that the station has already sent a 20-page document detailing the format and expectations of the interview, although he has not yet reviewed it in full.
On the issue of communication, Trevor acknowledged the challenge, stating that Bradley primarily speaks Swahili. However, he mentioned that the organisers may have arranged for a translator to bridge the language gap during the interview.
“Sijui wamejipanga aje. I don’t know; maybe wako na translator. Details niko nazo zote. I have a 20-page document inafaa nisome,” he added.
Apart from the television appearance, Bradley is also set to participate in a cooking event. The organisers reportedly came across a video of him cooking, which impressed them enough to extend an invitation for a cooking challenge.
During this event, Bradley will prepare African dishes, which will be judged by a panel based on taste and presentation.

Trevor further admitted that they have been paid well for Bradley to make appearances in Europe.
Fame, deals and backlash
Gen Z Goliath refers to Bradley Marongo, a 23-year-old Kenyan from Vihiga County, known for his towering 8-foot height. He gained fame during the 2024 anti-government protests in Nairobi, where his stature made him a viral sensation.
Nicknamed the “Kenyan Giant,” Marongo has since leveraged his fame into endorsement deals with brands like Khushi Motors and Mobile-Hub Kenya. He is active on social media, creating content and engaging with fans.
However, his rise has not been without controversy. In February 2025, a video of Marongo interacting with a lioness at a Dubai zoo sparked backlash, with some accusing it of promoting “modern slavery”.
Marongo clarified that the video was for entertainment purposes, emphasising that no harm or disrespect was intended.
