Kapseret constituency Member of Parliament (MP) Oscar Sudi has revealed the details of his meeting with Tanzanian R&B sensation Juma Mussa Mkambala, popularly known as Juma Jux.
Taking to his official X account on the night of Saturday, June 21, 2025, Sudi, in rare mastery of the Swahili language, stated that his discussions with Juma Jux had revolved around growing the East African music industry.
“Tulitangamana na Juma Mussa Mkambala almaarufu Juma Jux kutoka Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania ambapo tulijadili jinsi ya kukuza tasnia ya muziki katika ukanda wa Afrika Mashariki. Let’s groove to the rhythms of Africa! BORA NIENJOY,” Sudi stated.
Loosely translates to: “We met with Juma Mussa Mkambala, popularly known as Juma Jux, from the United Republic of Tanzania, where we discussed ways to grow the music industry in the East African region. Let’s groove to the rhythms of Africa! IT’S BETTER I ENJOY.”
The two met at an exclusive VIP engagement ceremony in Nairobi which was graced by President William Ruto.
The high-profile celebration marked the engagement of Nicole Langat, daughter of billionaire business mogul David Lang’at, alias DL, and his wife, Hellen Langat.
It was attended by top dignitaries, close family, and friends, including First Lady Mama Rachael Ruto.
Taking to his official Instagram account shortly after the event, Juma Jux shared his experience, stating that he had gained a new family that is humble, kind, and full of love.
He also thanked the event hosts for what he termed a warm welcome and unforgettable memories.
