New research refers to Ndindi Nyoro as the best member of Parliament in the 13th Parliament.

A study by Kenya Track revealed that Ndindi Nyoro is the best MP for the financial management of the Central Government Development Fund (NG-CDF).
Why is Ndindi Nyoro the best MP?
The study focused on the transparency and responsibility of parliamentarians in managing the fund. Other criteria used include how funds are used to support education through bursars, construction of school infrastructure, and learning materials; With the development of infrastructure such as roads, water, electricity and social services.
Of all those features, Ndindi Nyoro received a mark of 82.4% in his Kiharu parliament.
Grandpa Owino The East Embakasi followed in second place with a score of 72.2% in the transparency and responsibility of NG-CDF.

- Kimani Ichung’wah (Kikuyu) – 65.9%
- Mark Nyamita (Uril) – 65.3%
- Silvanus Osoro (South Mugirango) – 64%
- SUZANNE LIGHT (MAKUULI) – 63.7%
- Mohamed Abdikheir (Lafey) – 59.2%
These findings were due to interviews with more than 5,400 people aged 18 and on. The study had an error rate of +/- 1.554% and 94% trust. Participants made their comments via the phone.
Is the NG-CDF still valid?
While the debate on the legitimacy of the NG-CDF fund is underway, Ndindi Nyoro has called on the central government to raise funds in the fund.
He has also called for bursar aid provided through counties to be strengthened.
The MP, who until recently was the Chairman of the Budget Committee in Parliament, said the government should emphasize education in the budget for the 2025/26 financial year.

He explained that contrary to the claim that the NG-CDF is a personal investment for MPs, the fund is very helpful in needing students, so you deserve money.
In addition, Nyoro has asked the Budget Controller to allow county governors to continue to provide a bursar. He said any attempt to disrupt the aid would affect many families.
According to him, the debate on whether the NG-CDF is valid or not to make any sense to the average citizen.
Why does Raila Odinga oppose the NG-CDF?
ODM leader, Raila OdingaIt is among those who want the fund to be completely canceled.
He has been blaming parliamentarians for greed, saying they are fighting for the money while refusing to send more money to county governments.
According to Raila, lawmakers pass their boundaries by holding the money, while their constitutional responsibilities are representation, legislative, and administrative management.
