Tanzanian R&B sensation Juma Mussa Mkambala, popularly known as Juma Jux, on the night of Saturday, June 21, 2025, had the honour of performing at an exclusive VIP engagement ceremony in Nairobi.
The Saturday evening event was graced by President William Ruto.
The high-profile celebration marked the engagement of Nicole Langat, daughter of billionaire business mogul David Lang’at, alias DL, and his wife, Hellen Langat.
It was attended by top dignitaries, close family, and friends, including First Lady Mama Rachael Ruto and Kapseret Member of Parliament (MP) Oscar Sudi.

Taking to his official Instagram account shortly after the event, Juma Jux shared his experience, stating that he had gained a new family that is humble, kind, and full of love.
He also thanked the event hosts for what he termed a warm welcome and unforgettable memories.

The musician, on Friday night, June 20, 2025, during an interview with a local media station, explained how he ended up marrying his wife.
He described his reaction upon first seeing Priscillia as just a natural feeling and completely unexplainable.
He emphasised that upon first meeting her, he knew she was the one and did not want to waste time because he had never experienced such a feeling before.
“It is just something naturalthat I cannot explain; it is the feeling that I cannot explain. It is just the way nilivyomwona the feelings I had about her nikasema tu she is the one and I did not want to waste time kwa sababu ni feeling ambayo sijawai kuipata kwa mara ya kwanza mtu kumwona,” Juma Jux explained.
Their love story began at a Rwandan airport when Juma Jux missed his flight and ended up near the business class lounge, right where Priscillia was seated. She laughed at his frustration, and something clicked immediately.
