Digital content creator Georgina Njenga has finally addressed the mystery behind her extreme weight loss clarifying in a YouTube interview posted on Friday, June 20, 2025, that it stemmed from poor eating habits while drinking heavily, not depression as some fans had speculated.
Unhealthy habits revealed
“Honestly, I have this body that adds and loses weight so quickly,” Georgina said. “I’ve always been tiny, but it got to a point where I lost so much weight,it had never reached that level.
I was at 42 or 43 kilos, and I’ve usually lived around 47 or 48.
I kept wondering what was wrong, only to realize I was drinking without eating.”
She said the physical toll became hard to ignore, prompting her to reevaluate her lifestyle.
Journey to sobriety
Georgina’s decision to quit alcohol came earlier this year. In a May 23 update, she revealed she was 43 days into a 90-day detox, crediting the move to growing concern from her fans and a personal desire to feel healthier.

Since starting the detox, she has gained nearly 10 kilograms and says she feels more in control, both mentally and physically.
“I’m really proud of the progress. I feel more in control of my life,” she said at the time.
A Message with humor
Addressing ongoing curiosity about her weight loss methods, Georgina added a tongue-in-cheek response:
“For those asking what I did… wewe kunywa tu na usikule, na umake sure kuna mwanaume anakupea stress hapo kando (Just drink and don’t eat, and make sure a man somewhere is giving you stress).”
Behind the humor was a clear lesson on the importance of self-care, balance, and recognizing harmful patterns.
Georgina, who shares a daughter with former Machachari actor Baha, closed by urging others to prioritize their well-being:
“I’m trying to be a better human being, not for anyone else, but for me.”
Her openness continues to resonate with followers who are navigating their own personal challenges, making her story one of growth, resilience, and reclaiming one’s health.
