Kevin Kiprotich Kiprotich Koima, a Kenyan who passed away in Poland after missing for almost two weeks, is preparing to bury their beloved son and brother.

Emotional mourning from Kevin Kiprotich’s parents and relatives have shown in detail the sadness they have and the great love they gave to the young man whose life was interrupted from home.
Kevin’s last months in the world
Before he died, Kevin’s journey in his last months was full of strength and patience.
In February 2025, while on duty in Poland, he began to experience headaches and muscle fatigue.
Returned to Kenya and treated at a hospital Eldoret. After receiving treatment and returning to his normal condition, he began to share his activities as usual at home.
Doctors later allowed him to travel, and in good health, he returned to Poland on April 26 and continued his work at Ecowipes, where he had been employed.
On the day of the mother, on May 11, Kevin sent loving greetings to her mother and sisters, wishing them a good love and assured them that she was with them – a symbol of love that has now remained a precious memory for her family.
However, the disaster occurred the following day, on May 12, when Kevin disappeared from the Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki area, near the capital of Warsaw where he was living.

Kevin Kiprotich’s family mourning
In a detailed profile published by TUKO.co.ke, the Kevin family has described the pain of losing him and the permanent mark he left.
His father, with great sadness, wrote:
“My son, you were my pregnancy, my glory, and my happiness. Losting you is a pain that I never thought of. But I thank God for the time we had. Rest in peace, my son. You will never forget.”
His mother, with a broken heart, said:
“You were my pregnancy, my Malaiwa, the joy of my heart. Lost you have left a gap that has not been blocked. I will always remember your face of joy and light that brought it to my life.”
His male brothers explained:
“You were young, but your heart was even greater. It has affected us in a special way. We will miss your face of happiness, your humor, and your spirit of happiness.”
Her sisters added:
“You put happiness in our lives in a way that you are the only one you have afford.
Where was Kevin’s body found?
After Kevin reportedly disappeared, much effort to find him was started by local authorities and the Kenyan community in Poland.
For 12 consecutive days, hopes were mixed with anxiety as family and friends were waiting for any information about where they were.
On May 24, Kevin’s body was found in a public garden near its residence.
That sad discovery confirmed the fear that had spread in the hearts of his loved ones.
As his family prepares for Kevin’s funeral, they hold memories, love, and light he left in their lives – a young man who is remembered not only for his death, but for how he lived his life.
