Why did Kenyans hold a protest?
The protests were organized to protest the killing of blogger Albert Ojwang under police protection.
Ojwang was killed inside a police station following his arrest in connection with allegations of defamation.

Ojwang’s massacre prompted the temporary resignation of Eliud Lagat, the second chief chief of the Kenyan police service.
