IPOA has been under pressure to arrest everyone involved in the death of the blogger, who died a few hours after being arrested for defaming the name of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Eliud Lagat.

On Friday, June 13, detectives arrested three suspects, including a technician paid KSh 3000 to undermine the CCTV system at the police station.

Others arrested are OCS Samson Taalam and police officer, James Mukhwana.

On Sunday, June 15, detectives arrested three more people suspected of being involved in the killing of a blogger at the police station.

Citizen television reported that IPOA officials arrested three detained inmates at the police station on the night of the blogger.

IPOA captured Gin Abwao, Collins Ireri and Brian Mwaniki, whose preliminary investigations show were rented by police to torture the blogger.

The three were allegedly released in a vague situation shortly after torturing the blogger and let him think he was dead.

Investigations have also made great strides in restoring a large portion of the damaged CCTV images at the police station.

According to IPOA, the images obtained will be important in exposing the identity of the people who plotted the Ojwang murder.

This recent development is important in exposing the events at the center at night when the blogger suffered to death.
