Kakamega – President William Ruto He has again attacked opposition leaders, calling them unstable people.

During Church Worship at Kivaywa Primary School on Sunday, June 15, President Ruto promised not to delegate power to the current opposition by 2027.

According to the Head of State, he cannot delegate power to the opposition who does not have any national development plan.

The president explained that the opposition has no vision to develop countries beyond the promotion of ethnic politics.

Ruto questioned the opposition’s intention, claiming that they were dealing with only ethnic politics rather than development.

According to Ruto, opposition led by his former deputy, Rigathi Gachaguayou are just focusing on removing him from power and not solving the problems facing Kenyans.

“These other people (opposition) have no plans, don’t waste time for them. We will not delegate power to the unplanned people. Their only plan is ‘Ruto must go.’ How will that help Kenyans and the nation? ” Ruto asked.

The president’s remarks sparked a strong response from Gachagua, who said the statement was a sign that Ruto had begun to feel a failure in the 2027 general election.

Speaking in Kirinyaga County, the former Deputy President said that the opposition was not concerned about the remarks, stating that the Kenyan Constitution had no element of “delegating power.”

“It is good to have shown that you are willing to fail, but there is no element of delegating power to the Kenyan Constitution. What is there is the process of establishing the Assumption of Office,” Gachagua said.

Gachagua emphasized that no leader has the authority to prevent or deprive Kenyans of their fundamental rights, including voting and removing an unpopular government.

“Artilkali 1 of the Constitution of Kenya states about the authority of the people and the supremacy of the Constitution. It states that all leadership authorities are from Kenyan citizens, and they can implement it directly. he added.
