Kenyan actress and radio presenter Jacqueline Nyaminde, popularly known as Wilbroda, has congratulated fellow actresses Jacky Vike and Mammito Eunice following the premiere of their new film Inside Job on Netflix.

The highly anticipated movie was unveiled on Friday, June 13, 2025, during a glamorous premiere held at Anga IMAX in Nairobi. Among the guests in attendance was Wilbroda, who expressed her pride and excitement for the two women, saying their achievement was not just personal but a win for the entire Kenyan entertainment industry.

She shared how close she was to the film’s development process, revealing that many of the cast and crew involved in the project are close friends of hers. For that reason, she had witnessed the journey behind the scenes, right from production to its release on a global platform.

Wilbroda described the film’s debut on Netflix as a significant milestone, not only for Awinja and Mammito but for African cinema as a whole. She emphasised that having Kenyan stories showcased on an international streaming platform like Netflix meant the world was now watching and appreciating African talent.

She expressed confidence that Inside Job would become a hit, further putting Kenyan creatives on the global map.

“It is amazing because I am aware of the whole process as they were shooting. A lot of the cast and crew are close friends of mine. So I knew when they were working on it. So for it to have taken that whole process and gotten to Netflix, that is a big deal, and I’m so excited for them; that is the reason I’m here,” Wilbroda shared.

Adding;

“I can’t wait to watch it here at the premiere and watch it on Netflix. I’m so proud of this moment here. I’m clapping for them now. I know this is going to be the top hit on Netflix, especially our Kenyan movies and Africa in general. It’s a big deal that the world will get to see our stars. It is not only a big deal to them, but it’s to me too.”
