Kenyan media personality Betty Kyallo has poured out her heart in a sweet and playful birthday message to her partner, Charlie Jones, as he turned a year older.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, June 14, 2025, Betty celebrated their love by sharing adorable photos of them and a heartfelt caption that gave fans a glimpse into their two-year relationship, which has been full of laughter, support, and affection, according to the celebrated TV personality.
Betty described Charlie as a blessing in her life, calling him a loving and helpful partner who’s brought joy and fun into her world.
“It’s my man’s birthday today! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I want to first thank God for you, @charliemny. You’ve been a great, beautiful blessing to me for almost 2 years now!!!! Can you imagine? You’re a wonderful man. “A partner who’s ever so loving and helpful,” she shared.
She playfully mentioned how excited she gets when his football team wins, because it usually means a good night for her. She even joked about how Charlie’s gangster accent won her over from the first day they met.
Betty laughed about how Charlie always hypes her up when taking her to work but also mocks her, albeit lovingly, when she mispronounces words or shrub names. She also shared that he often pokes fun at her crooked smile, which resulted from a past accident, adding that his dark humour, though sometimes ruthless, still endears him to her.

The mother of one did not shy away from teasing the age gap between them either. She mentioned how Charlie sometimes skips opening the door for her under the excuse that she needs to exercise her muscles to stay fit, joking that the age difference must be the reason behind such remarks.
Despite all the playful jabs, Betty’s message was filled with genuine love and admiration. She prayed for his success, financial blessings, and even cheekily wished he would “put a ring on it” and have quadruplets with her, though she quickly backtracked, saying just one child would be enough.
Just three months ago, on Betty’s birthday, Charlie shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to her on Instagram. In his message, he described her as his heart, peace, and greatest blessing. He praised her for being the funniest person he knows, even funnier than him, as he jokingly admitted.
Charlie also admired her effortless beauty and the way she balances being a glamorous public figure with being a goofy and down-to-earth partner at home.
Age difference
Betty Kyallo has been in a public relationship with Charlie since 2023. Their union has drawn attention mostly because of their age gap. Early reports had claimed that Charlie was 21 years old, but he later came out to clarify that he is 26.
The term “Ben 10,” often used to refer to younger men dating older women, was thrown around in online conversations, but Charlie dismissed the label and said he’s happy in the relationship.
He added that age is not a factor when it comes to love, and he is focused on building a strong bond with Betty.
