The Nairobi -based police station has been instantly after the death of blogger Ojwang, who died at the station, under the protection of lawmakers after the arrest last week.
The emerging WhatsApp chatters from the WhatsApp group of the police station, which have been distributed on X, showed the status of the officers after the arrest of one of them, allegedly linked to the killing of the blogger.
In the leaked conversations, some last night, the soldiers felt sorry for a colleague who is in police custody, with some promising to pray for him.
“Let us stand with one of us in prayer and help. This is where the love between us is tempted,” One of them commented.
Others responded to the arrest of police officer James Mukhwana with a crying emoji.
“God help him,” Another said.
One of the officers also wrote a long message, advising the officers not to receive a victim injured in a cell without following the proper procedure.
“Officers of turns should visit cells regularly, showing their visits to the events book. Do not exclude prisoners,” He told his colleagues in the group.
Another officer mentioned that the officers involved need good legal representation and bail.
TUKO.co.ke also contacted a police officer at the facility, who confirmed that the chat was from their group, adding that he did not know who was leaked.

OCS of the Central Center arrested
