When Sheriff’s mother was disappointed, Sharmmwenheu Abud, claimed her son was allegedly kidnapped by people identifying themselves as police officers.

Who is the Nakuru Central Police OCS?

“He told me, ‘My mother, I go to a chemist to bring you medicine.’ About 2 o’clock at night, I was phoned from a new number. He said if he did not return two days later, I would call the 7 -year -old who was told, “she said.

It later emerged that three days before the 47 -year -old, disappeared, had given his mother a letter.

The letter consisted of the phone number of the Chief Executive Officer of the Nakuru Police Station, Samuel Chebii.

Sheriff had instructed his mother that if he was lost, he should contact the OCS about where he was. It is still unclear why Sheriff left the letter to his mother, since police said he had no criminal record.

“He is funny, so I didn’t take him seriously when he gave me the letter. He gave me a paper with an OCS number and his ID number,” he recalled.

A report of the missing person was submitted to the Valley Police Station, and the investigation is ongoing.

Abud has called on the government to assist in investigating his son’s case and making sure he returns safely.

“I urge the government to investigate because the government is our friend. But if we chase people by saying ‘get out,’ we can’t move forward. Sherifu sells his clothes to bring me food. He sells his shoes to bring me food,” he said, his voice shaking with emotion.

Kenyans are sympathetic to Abud

Albertdessomething-DF9VR: “Imagine this woman believes that the government is our friend. It hurts.”

Sarahwanjiku7966: “What happens in our country of Kenya? God, protect your people, this is too great.”

Mwas-X9T2S: “When people are in pain, they cause anger that can explode and become chaos and cannot be controlled. Please understand people psychologically.” “This pain is disturbing the nation. The president should make the country or give others a chance – this is very difficult for people to carry.”
