Did the police target Joshua Okayo?

Joshua Okayo, who is also the President of the Kenyan Law School, said that police officers threatened his life after telling him that he was ‘marked.’

According to Okayo, he tried to report the incident to the Police Station, but the officers denied him enter and demanded that he register the report privately.

However, he would not have and he claimed the process of transparency.

Commenting on Monday, June 9, he said that one officer directly focused on tears on his feet.

Okayo approached the officer and asked why he did so, and then the law officer allegedly threatened him.

He noted that he rejected advice from senior officials to report the matter privately, saying that he did not want to handle things without doors.

Photos from the scene showed Okayo and an officer involved in intense debate, with another officer trying to intervene.

On Thursday, June 12, Okayo was injured in the CBD area when he called for Deputy Inspector General of Police, Eliud Langat, to resign.

In an update, Wanjiru said that Okayo was doing well after being hospitalized.

“His essential joints are the same. The trembling has stopped. He can speak well, but his leg is numb. He is hit X-ray. He is injured.”

Another news, Shakira Wafula, a protester, was disintegrating by trying to disclose one officer wearing a beauty dress.

Pictures of the incident showed the girl facing the officer, who hid her face.

He grabbed the porch and pulled it out and sparked a scam.

The officer replied by trying to shoot Shakira with his gun, but he fled the area. Other protesters cheered when he disappeared from the crowd.
