The Authority to investigate the police performance (IPOA) has received important information while exacerbating its investigation into the murder of blogger Albert Ojwang.

A technician in a cell exposed the detectives that he had ran CCTV cameras that captured the incidents that resulted in Ojwang’s death at the Central police station.

It is said that he was paid KSh 3,000 to do the job intended to hide the killings by deleting all photos.

He said he was not a stranger to the center, since he has often been called for renovations.

The technician told investigators that he was quickly called to the center on Sunday, June 8, a few hours after Ojwang was confirmed.

When he arrived, he had to clear the events of the events at the center between June 6 and 8.

He revealed to the local officials that deleting the image on a specific day was an irresistible task, and that the important thing was to remove all the contents of the digital video recorder (DVR), thus breaking the evidence that would be important in the investigation of the Ojwang massacre.
