How did Eldoret’s residents embracing traffic lights?

On August 15, 2024, Eldoret was given the official city status, becoming the fifth city of Kenya. The historic event, witnessed by the President William Ruto And some leaders, pointed to an important step to stimulate regional development and strengthen economic activity.

This important move supported the broader goals of government development, aimed at attracting investment and strengthening infrastructure within the North Rift’s economic camp.

In another news, the nightclub of the festival in Eldoret recently organized a special occasion aimed at celebrating farmers.

Eldoret, known to its flourishing agricultural community producing maize, wheat, beans and potatoes, witnessed farmers coming in fashion for the event.

The festival along the Kapsabet Road, welcomed the guests who showed their tractors, from modern models to old machines, some even transported to the lower beds.

The event, called on the night of the farmers, involved the ministers playing in front of the tractors, wearing the same black dress, and creating a warm atmosphere.

In celebration, the club provided free services to clean tractors and agricultural equipment. In line with Kalenjin’s customs, Mursik was served in abundance, adding a cultural touch to that night.
