1. The Standard
The newspaper reported on the events that preceded the death of blogger Albert Ojwang under police protection.
Ojwang was arrested on Friday, June 7, in their home Homa Bay and his father testified.
The 31 -year -old was taken by six police officers who arrived in regular clothes within three motorcycles.
He was placed at a nearby police station before being dealt with and transferred to Nairobi.
In the midst of Ojwang’s arrest there was a complaint from Deputy Inspector General of Police Eliud Lagat, who was accused of being criticized through the post allegedly made by the deceased.
He was transported to Nairobi and detained at the Police Station, where he died shortly afterwards.
In their earlier report, police said Ojwang was seriously injured after hitting his head on the wall.
